Making artist’s books has become an important part of my artistic practice.
The sequence of images and words exist in a new space, a kind of poetry.
Every turn of page, a discovery, like hidden secrets in the space between.
Images and words conversing, floating on a page.
Ewa Monika Zebrowski has produced 24 self-published artist's books since 2001. She has recently completed two new book projects: fuori tempo (out of time) and now & beyond. She often collaborates with writers and poets, having worked with Mark Strand, Theodore K. Rabb, Pascale Quiviger, and Anne Michaels.
Since 2015, Zebrowski has printed all her books with Datz Books. Artist and graphic designer Francine Savard continues to be a valued collaborator.
